John Grey

July 31, 1936 — January 25, 2018

John M. Grey, 81, formerly of Kumry Road in Trumbauersville, died at Pennsburg Manor early Thur., Jan. 25. He was the loving husband of the late Lauretta G. (Weiss) Grey. Born at the family homestead in Trumbauersville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Rutkowski) Grzegorzewicz. For over 40 years John was a machinist with Bracalente Manufacturing Co. in Quakertown, retiring around 1994. He was a life member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown, and the North Penn Gun Club. John was a Phillies fanatic, and two of his favorite pastimes were playing darts and fishing. Surviving are his daughters: Teri Smith, husband Thomas and Gina Ritter, husband Gary, all of Quakertown; grandchildren: TJ, Joe, Mike, Tami, Angela, Ashley, Amanda and Adam; great-grandchildren: Madison, Gavin, Virginia, Nevan, Zander, Julia, Luke, Meredith, Mia and Evelyn; brother, Joseph Grey of Quakertown and sister, Anna Pratka of Bethlehem. He was preceded in death by a son, John Grey; grandson, Gary; and siblings: Frank, Eleanor, Stella and Jenny. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tues., Jan. 30 in Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd., 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, with a viewing beginning at 11:00 AM.
