Regina Grey

September 12, 1930 — July 27, 2017

Regina H. Grey, 86, of Quakertown, died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Phoebe Richland Nursing Center, Richlandtown. She was the loving wife of Joseph S. Grey for 64 years and had just celebrated their anniversary this past June 20th. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Louis C. and Rosa R. (Blankenhorn) Heck. Regina was a full-time mom who liked to sew in earlier years, and often made dresses for her daughters. She loved birds and bird-watching, and enjoyed planting flowers at her home. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown. Surviving with her husband Joseph are her six children: Rosemarie Shope of Quakertown; Diane Grey of Quakertown; Michael Grey, wife Maryann of Quakertown; Sandra Grey of Quakertown; Regina Grey-Willsey, husband Vance of Oak Harbor, WA; and Christine Grey of Quakertown; three grandchildren: Karen Semensky of Quakertown, Michael Grey, wife Julie of Skippack; and Miranda Grey of Quakertown; a great-granddaughter, Marianna; and a brother, Louis Heck of NJ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Heck and a sister, Phyllis Jarrett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wed., August 2 in St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Church, 2545 West Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, with a viewing in the Day Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Memorial contributions can be made to the local National Kidney Foundation: 1500 Walnut Street, Suite 301, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
