Christina Openden

Christina M. Openden, 92, of Quakertown, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center in Richlandtown. She was the loving wife of the late Marcus Openden for 50 years. Born in Waldwick, New Jersey she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Karben) Agugliaro. For over 35 years she worked as a forelady for Nabisco. Everyone who had ever met Christina loved her. She was a very kind, sweet, generous and giving woman. Christina loved to spoil her great-grandsons, solve puzzles, shop on QVC and go to the casino. In her earlier years, her and her husband liked to attend race tracks together. Surviving is her daughter: Fran Gallagher of Quakertown; granddaughter: Christine Brader of Quakertown; great-grandsons: Garrett & Derek Brader; sister: Leonora Deal of Mahwah, NJ and many nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Andrew, Rose, Frances and Jean. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 24 at St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 with a visitation period beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 25 at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053.
