Daniel Mcdermott

Daniel Edward McDermott, age 59, died Tues. July 28, 2020, at his home in Quakertown. Born Sept. 19, 1960, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Catherine A. (Brogan) and the late Edward C. McDermott. He was a graduate of Quakertown Community Senior High School. A construction laborer for most of his work life, Danny was a U.S. Navy veteran and an inveterate sports fan who reveled in his Philadelphia teams, could accurately cite the most minute sports trivia and had an uncanny knack for calculating batting averages and other sports statistics in his head during discussions with friends and family. In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by: brothers Joseph (wife Yvonne), Greg, and Tim McDermott; sister Mary McDermott; as well as 2 Nieces, 2 Nephews, a great-niece and two great-nephews. In addition to his father, Daniel is preceded in death by brother Dermot McDermott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM on Sat. Aug 29, 2020, at St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Parish, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A calling hour will precede from 11:00 AM until the time of Mass.
