Jane Ballenger

Jane Foster Ballenger passed away at home on July 13, 2020 in Coopersburg, PA at the age of 77. She was the wife of Robert C. Ballenger, and the couple would have celebrated 50 years of marriage later this year. Jane was born in Richmond, VA to the late Robert and Edith (Robertson) Foster. She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Richmond, VA in 1964 and went on to a long and rewarding career as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room in both Richmond, VA and Quakertown, PA. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Amy, son Rob, grandson Otto, and sister Bobbie. Graveside service will be held on July 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jane's memory to the Grace Hospital Alumnae Scholarship Fund (c/o Ida M Robinson 9304 Dalmahoy Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22408) or to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (myasthenia.org).
