Jeffery Delp

Jeffery S. Delp, 60, of Quakertown, previously of Perkasie, died Sat., Jan. 6 at his home. He was the loving husband of Sun Hwa (Park) Delp for 17 years. Born in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Myrtle V. (Smith) Delp. Jeff was a 1975 graduate of Pennridge High School. He earned his engineering degree in refrigeration from Frick Industrial Refrigeration and worked at Merck for 35 years. Jeff was involved with the NRA, enjoyed competition trap shooting, sky diving, and hunting. Surviving with Sun are his son: Wayne Marquis; grandson, Damion A. Marquis; brothers, Michael, wife Bernice of Ottsville and Randy, wife Kathleen of Quakertown; brother-in-law, Mike Park, wife Joanne; nieces and nephew: S. Richelle Sowa, Rhonda K. Grieser, Roslyn M. Zurfluh, Jennifer MacMillan, Krista Kent, Jenny Park and Jay Park; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and Damion's mother and step-father, Caitlyn and Brandon Lewis. He was predeceased by step-mother Gloria S. (Stover) Delp and nephew, Jason Delp. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Fri., Jan. 12 in Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
