Jeffrey Samsel

Jeffrey M. Samsel, 52, of Nazareth died Friday, October 26, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Kim (Lutz) Samsel for the past 24 years. Born in Allentown, Jeff was the son of Deborah (Hance) Samsel and the late Richard E. Samsel. Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Pennridge High School. He was an employee of Air Gas, Inc. of Palmerton and previously worked at Praxair. Jeff was a car enthusiast and enjoyed restoring his 1957 Oldsmobile 98 Coupe. Jeff's passion for photography began at a young age when he would photographing trains with his dad. Jeff continued this passion throughout his life by photographing many family events and car shows. He was a supportive Nazareth Band parent for his kids, taking on the jobs of driving the instruments and photographing the band. Jeff was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church. Surviving with his wife and mother are his three sons: Daimler, Owen, and Thomas "Ted" all at home. A memorial service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 2PM at Schoeneck Moravian Church, 316 N. Broad St., Nazareth. Family and friends are invited to call at the church on Wednesday, October 31st from 6PM-8PM and Thursday, November 1st from 1PM-2PM. Interment will in be in God's Acre at Schoeneck at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the church. www.nauglefcs.com
