Randle Decker

July 4, 1926 — October 3, 2019

Randle Decker, age 93, died Thursday, October 3, 2019, at St. Lukes Hospital, Quakertown. Born July 4, 1926 in Anetta, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Harvey and Verna (Ford) Decker, and the widower of the late Marceline Mae (Leach) Decker, who passed away in 2015. His eldest son Randy also preceded him in death in August 2016. Randle served his country with distinction in the United States Marine Corps. during World War II. After his military service, he became an ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God, He was employed at Ford Motor Company in their Quality Control Division as a Quality Assurance representative and also served at Ypsilanti Assembly of God, in Ypsilanti, MI as an assistant pastor. In retirement, he served at Emmanuel Assembly of God, in Louisville, KY. He also was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in both Kentucky and the John Rivers VFW in Quakertown. Randle is survived by: son Pastor John Decker (wife Theresa); beloved grandchildren Melinda, DeEitt, Jonathan, and Jordan; 12 beloved great-grandchildren; and brothers James (wife Geisela) and Spencer (wife Karen) Decker. In addition to his wife and parents, Randle is preceded in death by brothers Leonard, Cledith, RB, Douglas, Iris, and Harvey and his son Randy. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be privately held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
