William Molko

June 13, 1944 — May 3, 2019

William "Bill" P. Molko, Sr., 74, of Tower City, died peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, June 13, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul & Kathryn (Mocco) Molko.

Bill graduated from Wiconisco High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served proudly during the Vietnam War era. He earned various medals and Rifle Qualification Badge's - Expert and Sharpshooter and was Honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.

Bill's source of pride was his grandchildren and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing, shooting, cooking, and baking. He was a jack of all trades, and especially loved wood working and making bird houses.  Bill belonged to the American Legion and Orwin Gun Club in Tower City and was a supporter of the Audubon Society.

Surviving are his children: Dawn McGuire, her husband George of Quakertown and Curt, his wife Michelle of Warminster; 5 grandchildren: Angela, Brenna, Vincent, Danielle, and Anthony and ex-wife Ellen Molko. He was predeceased by son: William P. Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of William Molko to the Lebanon Veterans Administration, Attn: Voluntary Service, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042, placing "In Memory Of" on the note section of the check or The Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410.
