Alexander Long

Alexander K. "Alex" Long, 87, of Quakertown, passed away Fri., March 22 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Kennedy) Long. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Gallop) Long who passed in 2016. Alex was a professional civil structural engineer & worked for Construction Specialties, Lebanon, NJ for 12 years before retiring in 2016. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was of the Episcopalian faith. Surviving are sons: Alex & wife Wendy of Saylorsburg, Andrew & wife Hayley of Aurora, OH, Brian & wife Adria of Bloomsbury, NJ; and seven grandchildren.
