Allen Funk

Allen Funk, 40, passed away on August 21, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1985, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of loving him.

Allen was kind, generous, funny, quiet, and loving. He had a gentle nature and a heart that touched the lives of everyone around him. He loved the outdoors, traveling, and making memories with the people he loved. He also shared a very special bond with his beloved dog, Toby, whom he cared for and loved deeply.

Throughout his life, Allen was fortunate to share a meaningful relationship with someone who was very special to him. Their years together brought Allen companionship and countless memories that were an important part of his life.

Allen was an avid swimmer with the Quakertown Dolphins and later continued swimming on his high school swim team. A graduate of Quakertown High School, he went on to graduate from Penn State College. After college, Allen worked as a geoscience technologist, a career he pursued throughout his professional life.

Allen had a special love for the water, and his favorite place was Lake Wallenpaupack. He grew up spending time there and enjoyed all kinds of water sports, from jet skiing to water skiing. The lake held many wonderful memories for Allen, from his childhood through his life.

Allen is survived by his loving parents, Bruce and Susan Funk; his sister Melissa Vega; his brother-in-law, Joshua Vega; his beloved nieces and nephew, Olivia, Camryn, and Jaxson; his uncle, Steve Funk; his aunt, Patty Funk; and his cousins, April Detweiler and Steven Funk.

Allen's quiet and loving nature, kindness, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His family will forever treasure the memories of the son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend he was.

Allen was deeply loved, and his absence leaves a place in his family's hearts that can never be filled. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but also for the love he gave and the memories he left behind.

He will be loved and missed forever.
