Angela Filer

Angela Filer, 40, of Quakertown, PA, unexpectedly passed away after a brief illness on February 12th, 2024, at St. Luke’s Bethlehem Hospital. Born in Norristown, PA, Angela was the daughter of Anthony Interrante and Patricia (Magliente) Interrante. 

Angela grew up in Green Lane and graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2001. She then went on to continue her education at Ursinus College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. Angela’s career began at Johnson & Johnson, where she worked as a scientist. Since 2017, she was working as a Quality Associate with KCAS Bio (formerly called FlowMetric).

Her passion for life extended well beyond her professional endeavors and words do little justice to encompass Angela’s loving, creative, and artistic spirit. In her free time, she enjoyed watercolor painting and coaching her son’s soccer team. Angela was a woman of strong faith. She shared her faith in words and actions, and willingly assisted anyone who was in need. She was an active member of Christ Community Bible Church, where she served regularly with the Greeters ministry. Angela made an enormous impact in every life she touched. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them above all else. 

In addition to her parents, Angela will be dearly missed by her husband, Jac, together they shared 13 years of marriage; her son, John Mark; her stepson, Kyle; her siblings, Anthony III and Christine (Jen Kulgren); her nephew, Theo; her niece, Charlotte; along with other extended family members.

All are invited to visit with Angela’s family on Wednesday, February 21st, from 10:30AM ~ 12:00PM, at Christ Community Bible Church, located at 1830 N. Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA, 18944. A memorial service will begin at 12:00PM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angela’s name to Christ Community Bible Church.
