They frequented Nashville where they would dance to country music and enjoy the city's liveliness in each others company. She also enjoyed attending craft shows, watching classic Western movies, and going out with her girlfriends where they made memories filled with love and laughter. Trips to Sight & Sound Theatre were among her favorite outings, highlighting her love of theatre and faith. Her passion for service extended beyond her church. She worked as a call taker for WOAR (Women Organized Against Rape) and was a member of the Nockamixon Township Civic Association.
Above all else, Bonita cherished her family. One of her greatest joys was becoming a mother to two daughters, and later taking on the role of dedicated grandmother and great-grandmother.
