Bush Hooper

Bush Hooper, age 89, of Quakertown, died Sat. Dec. 5, 2020, at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. Born Apr. 22, 1931, in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late John Arthur and Minnie Ola (Barrett) Hooper, and the husband of Joan (Brobson) Hooper, to whom he was married for 67 years. He deeply loved God, his family and friends, and his country. In addition to his wife, Bush is survived by: daughter Carol Gayman (husband Philip, Jr.); son Todd Hooper (wife Monica); grandchildren Brittany Besack (husband Gregory), Allyson Speraw (husband Paul), and TJ Hooper; and greatgrandchildren Avery Besack, Orion Speraw, and Aries Speraw. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Mon. Dec. 14, at East Swamp Church, 2405 E Swamp Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. A viewing will be held at the church from 6:00 PM until the time of service. The family requests all who attend to wear something red, Bush's favorite color. *The wearing of face masks is required, and all current public health guidelines will be observed.* Interment will be private.
