Catherine Rokoski

Catherine Allen Rokoski passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, June 23, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. In her 70 years, she lived a life full of kindness and generosity, maintaining her sharp wit and sense of humor through it all.

Cathy is remembered by her husband of 38 years, Mike Rokoski; daughter Jen Rokoski (Chris Brainerd); stepsons Michael Rokoski and Nick Rokoski (Jaclyn Purcell); grandchildren Shelby and Julia; siblings Ed Allen, Bob Allen (Cathy), and Carol Covino; and many other family members who will miss her.

Born in Allentown on January 23, 1956, Cathy was the third of four children to Edward Allen and Doris Erb. She spent her childhood in New York and New Jersey, returning to the Lehigh Valley to attend Moravian College in Bethlehem, where she studied history and psychology. After many moves earlier in life, Cathy and Mike made Quakertown their home in 1988.

Cathy has been synonymous with Wright Flooring Company in Silverdale for over 30 years, and in many ways she was the heart of the company. Even through health struggles she continued to work as Wright Flooring's office manager. Her loss will be greatly felt by her coworkers and customers, past and present.

One of Cathy's greatest joys was being a mom to her daughter Jen, and she was an incredible one. She hardly missed a band performance, softball game, or art show. Most importantly, she always offered an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. She dedicated half of her life to being a mother, but her love will continue through many lifetimes.

Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of service or flowers, we invite donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Cathy's honor.
