Charles Frederick

Charles Frederick, 73, Quakertown, was called home to his Savior, Jesus Christ, Fri. Dec. 31 at St. Luke's- Bethlehem Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA. He was the loving husband of Lois (Wackerman) Frederick for 52 years on Aug 2. He worked at the US Gauge, Div. of Ametek, Inc., Sellersville as an aerospace group leader retiring after 44 years of employment. Born in Rich Hill, Pa he was a son of the late Mark, Sr. and Florence (Fink) Frederick. He graduated from Quakertown High School, Class of 1955. He was a member of the Tylersport Evangelical Church where he served as a Deacon, the Treasurer, and for years headed the Christmas Dinner ministry. Yet, he remained a devoted husband, loving father to his children and much adored Pop Pop to his grandchildren. Pop Pop would make it a point to be present for all his grandchildren's musical and sporting events. He was a great asset in assisting his 'in-laws' over the years. Charlie loved to garden. Annually he took great pride in his vegetable garden and growing gladiolas for his wife. He was an accomplished wood worker, particularly at making cabinetry in his home shop. He was a great golfer.
