Charles Varney

Charles Varney, 79, of Quakertown, went home to be with his Lord & savior Jesus Christ on June 5. Born April 4, 1940 in Omar, WV, he was the son of the late Homer & Mary (Collins) Varney. He was the loving husband of Arlene Frances (Wendt) Varney for the past 46 years. He proudly served his country in the Air Force. He was a graduate of Logan, WV High School. He was also a welder for 38 years. Charles was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Allentown where he was also a Deacon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son David G. Varney and his wife Loren of Gilbertsville; a daughter Cheryl Lynn and her husband Charles Mark Sivitske of Saylorsburg; and a grandson Isaiah James Varney. A memorial service celebrating Charles' life will be held on Thursday, June 13 at 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church, 4601 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
