Dean B. Mohr, 81, of Milford Township, passed away on October 27, 2026. He was born in Sellersville on September 21, 1945 to the late James W. Mohr and Kathryn (Sell) Mohr. Dean was the loving husband of Nancy A. (Litzenberger) Mohr for 57 years. He graduated from Bluffton College in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and continued on to Kutztown University where he earned his Master's Degree in Education in 1975. Dean was an English teacher for 35 years, mostly for the Pennridge School District. He was also heavily involved with the James W. Mohr & Son Auction Company where he worked alongside his father for many decades. In his retirement, Dean became known as "the greeter" of Tractor Supply in Quakertown.

Dean loved life, loved nature and deeply loved his family. Dean was outdoors whenever possible - spending time in "his woods" felling trees, splitting and stacking wood or solving the world's problems by a fire. Dean enjoyed many canoeing and camping trips with family and friends and loved telling stories to anyone else that would listen.

More than anything, Dean fiercely loved his family. A dedicated husband of 57 years, he doted on Nancy every single day, sipping on their morning coffee together and talking about their next adventures in life. He was very proud of his sons and their accomplishments and would often tell others about them and their families. He adored spending time with his grandchildren and hearing about their school activities, sports and social lives. Dean also enjoyed visiting the families, whether it was in Ohio or Upstate NY, and going on countless trips alongside them.

Dean is survived by his wife Nancy; sons Greg (Becky; daughters Makenna & Kelsey) of Bluffton, OH and Geoff (Heather; sons Aiden & Everitt) of Guilderland, NY; siblings Debbie Stevenback, Bonnie Simcox (Steve), Joan Hallman (Lee), Gayle Willouer, and Lisa Bowers (Tim); and many other loving family and friends. The family will announce details for a celebration of Dean's life at a later date where we can all toast with a beer or bourbon and a fine cigar.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dean's name can be made to the Quakertown Food Pantry.
