Edwin Gehman Moyer

Edwin Gehman Moyer, 91, of Quakertown, PA, died on Sunday, June 28th, 2026. He was the son of the late Nelson Moyer and Martha (Bergy) Moyer.

Edwin attended Easton High School. After High School, he furthered his education by attending Goshen Mennonite College, IN. He then received a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania.

Edwin began working at Bucks County Children and Youth as a social worker. He then worked as Manager of Bucks County Transport where he eventually retired from.

His passion for life extended well beyond his professional endeavors, in his free time Edwin enjoyed going out to breakfast, fishing with his sons, playing with his grandchildren, and playing the piano along with singing.

Edwin was a member at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church for many years where he made long lasting friendships. He will be remembered for his quiet concern for everyone around him. Above all else, he loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.

Edwin will be dearly missed by his wife, Palma, together they shared 69 loving years of marriage; his sons, James Moyer (Lisa) and Jonathan Moyer (Anne); his grandchildren, Arie Stauffer, Gabriella Moyer, and Luke Moyer; his siblings, Grace Aicher Yoder and Beulah Moyer ; along with his extended family members and friends. He is predeceased by his sons, Thomas, Gerald, and Joseph.

All are invited to visit with Edwin’s family on Monday, July 6th, 2026, from 11:00am ~ 12:00pm, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A memorial service will begin at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edwin’s name to the Mennonite Central Committee or Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.
