Evelyn Gross

Evelyn I. Gross, 83, of Coopersburg, previously of Quakertown, died Tues, June 15 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Earl W. Gross. Born Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Walter A. and Jennie (Benner) Buzby. A graduate of Quakertown High School, Class of 1944, she worked over 20 years as a secretary for Quakertown Community School District. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Coopersburg and devoted volunteer with Quakertown Meals on Wheels for a number of years. Surviving: sons, Thomas E., Coopersburg, James E., wife Susan, Spinnerstown, John A., wife Laurie, Quakertown; daughter, Debbie Loew, husband Michael, Coopersburg; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph E. Buzby, Quakertown, Kenneth Buzby, Rochester, NY. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley. Jeffrey A.
