Faith Green

Faith Green, 94, of Blooming Glen, PA, died on September 5th, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Faith was the daughter of the late William J. Gaerthe and the late Mable E. (Kent) Gaerthe. Faith is predeceased by her husband William H. Green, they were married for 53 years.

Faith attended Simon Gratz High School and graduated in 1950.

After High School, she attended Bible school before getting married and having a family. After her children were grown she worked at Wicker and Cane and various places until her retirement.

Faith enjoyed reading and studying her bible with her morning cup of coffee, listening to hymns and Gospel music, water color painting, doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

In her younger years she attended Pennridge Full Gospel Church of Blooming Glen and more recently Christ Community Bible Church of Perkasie.

Faith is survived by her children, Jonathan Green, wife Kim of Perkasie, Doreen Richardson, husband Jeff of Pottstown, Gwen Forsythe, husband John of Blooming Glen and Mark Green, wife Gretchen of Quakertown; 11 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; her Sister-in-law Doris Gaerthe and her children Anna Gaerthe, Kent Gaerthe Jr, and William Gaerthe; her niece, Anna Gaerthe and nephews, William Gaerthe and Kent Gaerthe Jr. In addition to her parents and husband, Faith is also predeceased by her brother, Kent Gaerthe and her son-in-law, Jeff Richardson.

All are invited to view Faith on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 10:00 ~ 11:00am, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A funeral service will begin at 11:00am followed by a private family graveside service at Whitemarsh Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Faith’s name to your favorite missions organization.

To show support for Faith, guests are encouraged to wear colorful clothes. She did not like black and loved color and flowers.
