Frederick “Fred” Glenn Diehl, 79, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away on April 19, 2026, at St. Luke’s Upper Bucks Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Quakertown, PA, Fred was the son of the late Howard M. Diehl and the late Ruth V. (Strawn) Diehl. He shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Cynthia.
Fred grew up in Haycock Township and was a proud graduate of Quakertown High School, Class of 1965. It was here where Fred met his forever best friend, business partner, and wife, Cynthia. Neither Fred nor Cynthia could have dreamt of the legacy they would create together, built on the foundation of their everlasting love for one another.
Following graduation, Fred was drafted into the United States Army in 1966, where he proudly served his country. Following his time serving, Fred returned home and began his next chapter of life by marrying Cynthia and starting his career in manufacturing. Clymer Machine Company was his introduction into the industry and a valuable stepping stone. Soon after, he continued his career working at B&G, gaining additional experience that would shape his future.
In 1978, Fred fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship, backed by his well-earned manufacturing knowledge, and founded Precision Products Ltd. What began as a small operation ran out of his family home’s garage, grew into a thriving 23,000-square-foot business. Through hard work, dedication, and determination, he built a lasting legacy, working alongside his family and valued employees for 48 years. Fred took great pride in the thriving business he created, the quality of work produced, and his loyalty to his customers and community. Fred’s theory regarding work was ‘if you’re going to do it, do it right the first time.’
In his free time, Fred enjoyed attending car shows, traveling to Florida with his family, spending time at the gun club, and spoiling his grandkids. He especially cherished traveling with his wife and often times friends as well. From campers to friends’ timeshares, and eventually cruises to castles, the memories created were unforgettable. Fred was never shy to make a joke that would light up a room; he was a magnet that could make even the quietest person giggle. Above all, Fred valued time spent with his family—family was truly everything to him. And with that, Fred will forever be irreplaceable.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; his daughters, JoAnn (Scott), Stephanie (Danny), and Lisa (Todd); his grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Zachary, Riley, Halie, Hunter, Morgan, and Mason; his great-grandchildren, Landon, Carson, and Theodore; and his siblings, Kenneth, Ronald, Phyllis, Phillip, Linda, and Betty, along with many extended family members and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Gerald.
All are invited to visit with Fred’s family on Saturday, May 16th, from 9:00 ~ 11:00am, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 (215-536-3343). A memorial service will begin at 11:00am followed by a luncheon at the North Penn Gun Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
