Gale Maria Trusky, 72, of Elkins Park, PA, died on July 6, 2025, at Aristacare at Meadow Springs Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, Gale was the daughter of the late Francis Leo Trusky and the late Adele (Lacktman) Trusky.
Gale attended Hatboro Horsham High School and went on to get an Associate Degree in computer science related subjects from Ryder College. She then continued her education by attending Temple University obtaining a Master of Education Degree in May 1985.
Gale began her working career at Montgomery County Community College teaching computer related course for several years followed by working at Prudential Insurance. Her current employer was Vertical Screen in Warminster, Pa. Vertical Screen does specialized screening and compliance for companies looking to hire new employees. Her designation was Occupational Health Researcher but she performed a variety of tasks at the company.
During High School, Gale’s first job was making paper hat tricks for a professional magician.
Her passion for life extended well beyond her professional endeavors, in her free time, Gale enjoyed gardening, and anything nature related. She also loved going to flea markets and other such sites to browse for jewelry and meet people.
She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Elkins Park. Gale was happiest when she was out in nature and had the opportunity to meet people while shopping and browsing. She always had a special place in her heart for her family, immediate and extended. Above all else, Gale loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.
Gale will be dearly missed by her brother, Frank L Trusky Jr and her long-time companion, Randy Schumacher; and her sister-in-law, Patti Trusky; along with her extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Gale is predeceased by her younger brother, Harold T. Trusky.
All are invited to visit with Gale’s family on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, from 12:00 ~ 2:00PM, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A memorial service will begin at 2:00. The family encourages you to dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gale's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
