Gary Joseph Stevenson, 65, of Quakertown, PA, unexpectedly died on September 10, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Born in Philadelphia, Gary was the son of the late Arthur N. Stevenson and the late Elizabeth (Butter) Stevenson.
Gary graduated from North Catholic High School in 1979. After High School, he furthered his education by attending LaSalle/University of Phoenix, where he studied Information Technology Visual Communication and received his Associate of Arts degree.
Gary began working at Corestates in February of 1982 and eventually found his way to Aramark and worked there for the next 35 years.
His passion for life extended well beyond his professional endeavors, in his free time, Gary enjoyed MASH, model trains, spider solitaire, and building Lego sets.
He was a member of Disney Vacation Club from 1999. He also volunteered to support his children's activities, such as coaching their soccer teams and helping out the color guard.
Gary was happiest when he was at home watching MASH with his wife and he always had a special place in his heart for wood working.
He will be remembered for his compassion and willingness to help others out.
Above all else, he loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.
Gary will be dearly missed by his wife, Corrine, together they shared 39 loving years of marriage; his children, Samatha Stevenson (Eric Lugo), Gary Stevenson II (Morgan Croissette), Robert Stevenson (Taylor Seiler), and Ryan Stevenon (Hannah Stevenson); his grandchildren, Mia Stevenson, Joseph Lugo, Lilly-Ann Lugo, Oliver Stevenon and Juliet Stevenson; his siblings, Linda Verschelde, Diana Graeber, and Arthur Stevenson (Ruth Stevenson); along with his extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gary’s name to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
