Gladys Hamilton

Gladys Joyce Hamilton, age 90, of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday March 14, 2021 at her home in Coopersburg. She was the wife of the late James Hamilton, who died in 2015 and with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Born in Quakertown, PA she was a daughter of the late Howard A. Heimbach and the late Mabel S. Rosenberger Heimbach. Gladys was strong in her faith, a lifelong member of West Swamp Mennonite church in Quakertown. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed reading, needlepoint, quilting, and spending time with family. Survivors include four sons, Greg (Linda) of Allentown, Ron (Karen) of Coopersburg, Rick (Debbie) of Coopersburg, and Jeff (Brooke McDermott) of Bethlehem; two daughters, Patricia (Karol Strelecki) of Allentown and Peg of Emmaus; one sister, Mary of Montana; one brother, Paul Heimbach of Quakertown; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph and Raymond. Services and interment will be held privately.
