James William Hallock

James William Hallock, 75, of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous journey with illness. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is in the presence of his Savior.

Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, generosity, and faith. He touched the lives of countless family members, friends, neighbors, and colleagues with his quiet strength, unwavering love, and compassionate heart.

Above all else, Jim cherished his family. He found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved, celebrating life's milestones, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. His guidance, encouragement, and steadfast presence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jim is survived by Susan, his wife of 15 years. Their life was filled with laughter, joy, and many adventures. He is also survived by his children, Adam & wife Alyson, Joanna Everitt and Sarah Rauch; his grandchildren, Robby, Ty & wife Gina, Caleb, Anna, Sadie, Jenna, Paige and Joie; his siblings, Fred and Walter & wife Geri; Susan Hallock's children (4) and grandchildren (11), and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Olivia Marie Hallock, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage and raised their family, his parents, Erwin and Anna Mae Hallock, his sister-in-law, Barbara Hallock, and other loved ones.

Jim served as a firefighter with the Sparrowbush Fire Department while still in High School and began his military service immediately following graduation. He served 20 years of active duty in the military. He was a U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt (Fire Protection Specialist), and a U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Aviation Warfare Systems Operator (AW1). He retired from military service in 1991. He then worked at MERCK as a member of the United Steel Workers Union, in Laboratory Services, retiring after 23 years.

While serving in the Navy, Jim enjoyed playing softball and later loved watching his children participate in their sports and activities. In his later years, he found a passion for bicycling, completing two century rides and raising awareness for causes that were important to him, including helping the homeless and supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Cycling became something Jim and Sue enjoyed together, and they spent many happy days riding miles of trails throughout the East Coast and making memories along the way.

Jim was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church from 1987 to 2015 serving in the Bus Ministry. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church since 2015, serving in the Sunday School Ministry and as a Prayer Group Leader. His heart was deeply devoted to his church family.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Bible Baptist Church family. They are especially thankful for the many prayers, visits, and expressions of kindness that have carried them through this difficult time.

Though deeply missed, Jim's legacy of love, integrity, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know him. His memory will forever remain a treasured gift in the hearts of all who loved him.

All are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 9:00 ~ 10:30am, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. A funeral service will begin at 10:30am. Following the service, he will be laid to rest with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, a fitting tribute to his faithful service to his country.
