Jerauld “Jerry” William Clair, 82, of Quakertown, PA, died on December 29, 2025, at LVHN Cedar Crest Hospital. Born in Binghamton, NY, Jerry was the son of the late William A. Clair and the late Arlenea B. Clair (Mock).
Jerry attended Pennridge High School and graduated in 1961. After High School, he continued his education by attending Kings College, Nyack, NY and Bucks County Community College where he received his Assoc degree in Electronics.
Jerry dedicated his life to serving his country and proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 – 1969 in Vietnam as a member of the Mobile Riverine Force “Spearheaders”. In combat he was wounded and received a purple heart.
He was hired at Deltron, Inc., Lansdale, PA as an Electronic Tech; however, he was soon promoted to Electronic Engineer. He remained there for over 30 years as “lead project engineer” and retired in 2006.
Jerry’s passion for life extended well beyond his professional endeavors. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed restoring cars; remodeling and improving his homes; designing and constructing gardens and ponds; raising koi and other fish, going to auctions and antiquing; and cooking.
He was happiest when he was creating and working on his many hobbies. Jerry always had a special place in his heart for nature and the outdoors.
Above all else, Jerry loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary Ann, together they spent 52 loving years of marriage together; his daughter, Jessica Clair (Sam Yun); his grandchildren, Evelyn and William; his sibling, Joan Fassett (Harry); along with his extended family members and friends.
All are invited to visit with Jerry’s family on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 10:00 ~ 11:00, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A funeral service will start at 11:00 followed by burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
