Joan Hooper

Joan Elizabeth Hooper, age 85, of Quakertown, died Mon. Dec. 21, 2020, at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. Born July 9, 1935, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Florence "Becky" (Long) Brobson, and the widow of the late Bush Hooper, who preceded her in passing on Dec. 5, and to whom she was married 67 years. Joan is survived by: daughter Carol Gayman (husband Philip, Jr.); son Todd Hooper (wife Monica); grandchildren Brittany Besack (husband Gregory), Allyson Speraw (husband Paul), and TJ Hooper; and greatgrandchildren Avery Besack, Orion Speraw, and Aries Speraw. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wed. Dec. 30, at East Swamp Church, 2405 E Swamp Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. A viewing will be held at the church from 6:00 PM until the time of service. *The wearing of face masks is required, and all current public health guidelines will be observed.* Interment will be private.
