John B. Burrington, 77, of Richland Township, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2009 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of June E. (Wilmot) Burrington for 55 years. Born in Windsor, VT, he was the son of the late Frank Burrington and Barbara (Hodgkins) Burrington. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA He was employed as a materials manager for many years until he founded Burrington Associates, Inc. in 1988, a recruiting firm located in Souderton, PA. Upon retirement he actively volunteered his services at Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville, PA, where he was a member. During the Korean War, he served his country in the Air Force. He was a life long member of the American Legion, past president of the Jaycee's of Springfield, VT, and a former member of the Richland Township Planning Commission. Survivors: Wife, sons, Jeffrey J. and his wife Debra of Lower Pottsgrove, PA, and Jay K. and his wife Ruth of Center Valley, PA; grandsons, Collin and wife Patricia of Hawaii, Tristan, David, Jonathan, Jordan and Benjamin all of PA; granddaughters, Bethany, Elisabeth and Faith all of PA; great-granddaughters, Alexis and Lyla, who is due in January 2010, Hawaii; sisters, Joyce of VT and Nancy of CA. Services will be held 7:00 pm Monday, Dec 7 in Bethel Baptist Church, 754 E. Rockhill Rd., Sellersville. Viewing: 5:30-6:30 pm Monday in the church Interment: Quakertown Union Cemetery Jeffrey A.
