John Joseph Kilbride Jr.

John Joseph Kilbride Jr., 74, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on July 27, 2026, at Phoebe Richland Nursing Home. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, John was the son of the late John Joseph Kilbride and the late Catherine (Quinton) Kilbride.

John attended North Catholic High School and graduated in 1970. After high school, he worked as a roofer. He later became self-employed, owning and operating his own roofing business for 35 years before retiring in 2016.

In his free time, John enjoyed fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. Earlier in his life, John played baseball and football for North Catholic High School and later played semi-professional football for the Piccoli Spartans. He also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. Above all else, John loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

John will be dearly missed by his children, Jennifer (Adam), John III, and Michael (Megan); his stepchildren, Michelle, Brinton, and Alyson (Mike); his grandchildren, Sarah, Justin, Shane, Michael, Ryan, Maggie, Michael, Vincent, Anthony, and Isabella; his great-grandson, Emmanuel; his siblings, William and Mary Catherine (Ken); along with his extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Urso, and his sister-in-law, Marianne Kilbride.

All are invited to visit with John's family on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd., 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
