Judith S. Ware

Judith S. Ware, 85, of Milford Township, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was the loving wife of the late James E. "Ed" Ware for 57 years until his passing in 2019. Born December 7, 1938 in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Christine (Putt) Schaeffer.  Judy was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School, PA and graduated from Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing as an R.N. in 1959. She dedicated over 50 years to nursing, finding joy in caring for others. Beyond her profession, Judy cherished baking, entertaining, and most of all, her family. She delighted in planning family gatherings, supporting her loved ones at their sporting events and treasuring moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Jodie and her husband Hervey "Chip" Schofield III of Hatfield and their daughters, Jennifer and Jocelyn; Judiann DeLan of Naples, FL and her sons Gregory and Geoffrey; her son James Ware and his wife Diane of Harleysville and their children James and Anjolie.  Judy was blessed with great-grandchildren; Geoffrey, Giuliana, Greyson, Caroline, Charlotte, Brenner and Judi Mae  and is fondly remembered by her brother Carl (Linda) Schaeffer and cousin Joan Englert and numerous other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Charles Schaeffer. 

All are invited on Saturday, June 22 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 to a visitation from 10-11am and a memorial service at 11am.
