Kathleen J. Cressman-Rice

Kathleen Joan Cressman-Rice, age 71, passed away on September 22, 2026, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was the loving spouse of Alan Rice. Born in Kingston, NY, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Gerald Hanley and the late Shirley Schermerhorn Hanley.

Kathleen cherished her family, especially her sons and grandchildren. She loved traveling with her brother and his wife and took great pride in the military achievements of her father, brother, and nephews. She also loved being a “Lego enabler” to her grandchildren, always happy to encourage their creativity and interests.

Always an entrepreneur, Kathleen owned and operated several family businesses throughout her life, including a plant nursery, rental properties, a beer distributor, and a tanning business. Most recently, she owned and operated an Airbnb.

In addition to her husband, Alan Rice, Kathleen is survived by her sons, Brandon Cressman and Trevor Cressman; her daughter-in-law, Savannah Cressman; her stepson, Kyle Rice her; brother, Jerry and his wife, Colleen; her nieces, Jessica, Megan, Tina, and Sue; her nephews, Corey and Chase; and her beloved grandchildren, Makenna and Connor. 

All are invited to visit with Kathleen's family on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, from 10:00 ~ 11:00am, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A memorial service will begin at 11:00am.
