Kathleen Rittenhouse

Kathleen E. Rittenhouse, of Coopersburg, PA, was surrounded by her family and her favorite music as she joined her husband, Joseph, in heaven, after spending 84 years with her family. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Margaret Wahl and William McGillivray. Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph (Bud) A. Rittenhouse, Sr. in 2002 and her son, Joseph Rittenhouse Jr. in 2017.

Kathleen was a member of St. Isidore’s Church in Quakertown for over 70 years. She was an associate broker in the real estate market for the last 30+ years and a member of The John Rittenhouse Team. Kathleen loved her family and friends, enjoyed traveling across the US, Italy, Ireland, and Canada. She treasured her relationships with loved ones, enjoyed movies, parties, dinners, games, cards, wine tasting, and Broadway shows.

Kathleen was a loving mother to Mary Beth Rittenhouse, Jeffrey Rittenhouse and wife Cindy, Michael Rittenhouse, Anne-Marie (Rittenhouse) Miller and husband Ed, John Rittenhouse and wife Erica; a loving grandmother to Joseph Rittenhouse III, Matt Rittenhouse, Alicia Rittenhouse, Aaron Rittenhouse, Shannon Burky and husband Tom, Logan Rittenhouse, Lauren Rittenhouse, Joshua Miller, Michaela Miller, Maddox Rittenhouse and Saige Rittenhouse; and a loving great-grandmother to Aidan Burky, Felicity Burky, Willow Woodruff, Iris Woodruff and Audrey Rittenhouse.   

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 6th, 2023, from 9:30AM ~ 10:30 AM at St. Isidore’s Church, 2545 W Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. Mass will begin at 10:30AM, followed by a graveside service. A celebration of life and achievements will be held at Fr. Riegler Center starting at 1:00PM.   

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to St. Isidore’s food bank or local food banks.
