Lamar R. Feikel, 73, of Quakertown, died Tue., Sept., 4 at his home. He was the loving husband of Rita V. (Preles) Feikel for 39 years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Paul Sr., & Arlene (Feikel) Ahlum. Lamar served in the U.S. Navy Air Force during the Vietnam war. He later then worked for Rotelle Incorporated in West Point, PA for 30 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Applebachsville. Lamar loved to make bluebird boxes and be outdoors. Surviving along with his wife is daughter: Kristin Feikel of Quakertown, brother: Paul Ahlum Jr., wife Yolanda of Quakertown and nephew: James Ahlum of NYC. He was preceded in death by son: Lamar Jr. Funeral service will be held Sat., Sept., 8, 11 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Applebachsville, 837 Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 with a viewing beginning at 10 AM. There will be a viewing the night before at the church from 7-9 PM.
