She was the loving wife of Augustus (Gus) Wadsworth Sr. for 61 years. Born August 18, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madalene (Boller) Rocks. She attended J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia. She met her husband in 1957, they fell in love, had 3 children, and Madge became a dedicated mother and housewife for many years. Madge was an avid card player and very much enjoyed reading. She was known for always having an extra seat at her dinner table and an open door for any of her children's friends. She enjoyed hosting her friends and family at her log home in Dushore, PA at any time of year and always had a candy jar full of M&Ms on the coffee table. She was the epitome of wit and wisdom and was always quick with a comeback.
She is survived by her three loving children, Susan Wadsworth of Quakertown, PA, Audrey Wadsworth (John Banes), of Quakertown, PA, and Augustus Wadsworth Jr. (Pattie DiFazio) of Swiftwater, PA. She is also survived by five adoring grandchildren, Daniel Banes (Gina Banes), Annabelle Wadsworth (Brett Leib), Connor McKane (Taylor McKane), Augustus Wadsworth III, and Amanda Banes. She is also survived by five wonderful great-grandchildren, Ryan, Layla, Amelia, Anthony, and Aubrey. She had several nieces and nephews and was known as "Aunt Madge" to many. In addition to her husband, mother, and father, she was preceded in death by three siblings and her son-in-law, Robert McKane.
