Marjorie Cope

Majorie E. Cope, 89, of Richlandtown, died Sun. July 23th at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late William and Ida (Shelly) Cope. She worked for Moore Business Forms, Quakertown prior to her retirement and had previously worked for U.S. Gauge - Ametek, Sellersville. She was a longtime Girl Scout Leader and was a member of East Swamp Church, Quakertown. Surviving are her daughters, Maureen Gerhart, husband Edward of Coopersburg, and Marcia Giesbrecht, husband Darrel of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Bill Cope Jr., and a sister Mary Schantzenbach. Services will be held 11:00 AM Fri. July 28th at East Swamp Church, 2405 E Swamp Rd, Quakertown. A calling will precede the service from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Interment in East Swamp Cemetery.
