Norman Henry Hershek

Norman Henry Hershek, 87, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away on September 1st, 2026, at Phoebe Richland Nursing Home. Born in Newark, NJ, Norman was the son of the late William Hershek and the late Betty (Zelminovich) Hershek.

Norman enjoyed antique shopping and spent many years bowling, a pastime that brought him great enjoyment. He treasured his mornings spent reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee. Those who knew Norman will also remember his sense of humor and his love of making others laugh. Whether sharing a joke, searching for an antique find, enjoying his morning coffee, or simply spending time with those closest to him, Norman found happiness in life’s simple moments.

Above all else, he loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them. Norman will be dearly missed by his wife, Edith Hershek, together they shared 65 loving years of marriage; his grandchildren, Natasha Ryan, Dillon Rivera (Elyse Carmel) Austin Rivera (Stephanie Bolin) and Shania Mathews (David Alonso-Rodriguez); his great-grandchildren, Howie Rivera, and Hazel Rivera; his sister, Susan Gradman (Lenny Gradman); along with his extended family members and friends. Norman is predeceased by his daughter, Debra Mathews, his son, Donald Hershek and his grandson, Kyle Hershek-Pierson.

All are invited to a graveside service that will take place on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, beginning at 1:00pm, located at Keller’s Church Cemetery, 3740 Ridge Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Norman’s name to the American Cancer Society.
