With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Peter Narainswamy, who passed away peacefully on July 30th, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born on January 20th 1949 in Guyana,South America, Peter lived a life defined by love, hard work, integrity, and devotion to his family. He was a man of quiet strength whose wisdom, kindness, and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Before coming to this country, he served in the Guyanese Defense Force and held a high position in the Bauxite Company. Once coming to America, he worked his way up the ranks to a Regional Manager at R&S Strauss. He took great pride in his work and was respected by colleagues and friends alike. He always lended a helping hand and stood for what was correct. Once retiring from R&S Strauss, he found love in driving the school bus. He loved his comrades at Pennridge School district and the children he took care of. During the summer, he loved driving the bus for Buck County River Country, where he enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Beyond his career, he enjoyed gardening in his backyard, being one with nature and spending time with his family.
Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, "grandpa", brother, and friend. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in supporting, encouraging, and loving each of them unconditionally. He taught by example the values of honesty, determination, compassion, and faith, leaving a lasting impact on generations to come.
He is survived by wife, Lucille; his child, Alyssa; siblings, Pearlie, Whilomenia, Elizabeth, Margaret and Jacqueline; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by Walter(Dad), Ramkuarie (Mom), Dick(Brother), Ruby(Sister) and Philomena(Sister).
Though we grieve his passing, we are grateful for the years we shared with him. His love, guidance, laughter, and unwavering support will continue to inspire us every day. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" Revelation 21:4
