Peter "Skip" Militello Jr.

Peter (Skip) Militello Jr., age 82, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 23, 2026. He was the spouse of Judith (Norris) Militello, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Peter Militello Sr. and the late Rose (Pirolli) Militello.

He was a talented cabinet maker who worked for Paone Woodworking for many years. He retired at a young age but continued to put his skills to good use, having made birdhouses as a hobby and renovating various rooms at home.

Outside of his profession, Skip was an avid fisherman. In his early days of fishing, he was a regular at Lake Nockamixon. A highlight each year was when he joined a group of friends who took a fishing trip for over 25 years. He was lucky enough to take home the trophy at least once.

Come every September, Skip was ready to bleed green for his Philadelphia Eagles. He was a lifelong fan, starting with season tickets in the notorious 700 level of Veterans Stadium and then moving to enjoy game day from his recliner. The highlight for him was seeing his team win two superbowls! Go Birds!

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tara Militello; his siblings, Ron Militello (Kate) and Debbie Militello; and several nieces and nephews.

You are invited to visit with Skip's family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Willow Grove VFW (305 W Moreland Rd, Willow Grove, PA). Skip's Life Celebration Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
