Philip Hauber

Philip Frederick Hauber, age 70, passed away December 23, 2018, at his home in Quakertown. Born January 19, 1948, he was the son of the late Albert and Louise (Schenkle) Hauber, widower of the late Marie Joyce (Ferguson) Hauber, and the beloved husband of Rebecca I. (Focht) Hauber. Working for over 32 years as an electrical contractor for PECO, Philip was a man of serious work ethic. In his free time, he would meticulously take on countless renovations and projects around his home. Even after retiring from PECO in 1999, he worked with his son at his business for another 19 years, up until his passing. In addition to his wife, Philip is survived by: his son Jeffrey P. Hauber (wife Michelle); daughters Lisa M. Kermisch and Jennifer L. Hauber; step-daughter Jennifer L. Reynolds (husband Robert); and brother George Hauber; as well as 8 beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Chloe, Jason, Elora, Phoebe, Jada, Amaya, and Farrah. In addition to his parents and first wife, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Albert and William Hauber. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, with Pastor Denise Reynolds officiating. A visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of services. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
