Ramona Mae Chango, 97, of Quakertown, PA, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at Phoebe Richland Nursing Home. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, Ramona was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Hosgood and Dorothy (Mann) Frescatore. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 60 years, George Chango, and her cherished daughter, Deborah Bast.
Ramona attended Mount Carmel High School and, after graduating, dedicated herself to raising a family.
She had a special love for cooking and gardening. She also enjoyed reading, playing card games, Scrabble, and word search puzzles. She is survived by her children, Georgette Worley (Tom Worley), and Janice Stauffer (Richard Stauffer) and her son-in-law William Bast, her grandchildren, Melissa Bast, Derek Bast (Christine Bast), Yvonne Worley, Tiffany Stauffer, and Hailee Karg (John Karg); and her seven great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy; along with many extended family members and dear friends. In addition to her husband and daughter, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Galen Hosgood and Jerry Hosgood.
