Listen to Obituary

Randolph James "RJ" Guill, 72, of Coopersburg, passed away on July 15, 2026. He was born in Lynchburg, VA, on August 25, 1953 to the late Randolph Delaware Guill and Ruth Barbara (Londeree) Guill. RJ was the loving husband of Carol Ann (Overholt) Guill for 49 years. He served honorably in the Marines from 1970-1974, and would go on to work at the Philadelphia Naval Base, as well as Willow Grove Air Base. RJ was an animal lover, particularly with horses, all the way from miniature to race horses. Although he often showed a gruff exterior, he would give the shirt off his back for those close to him. He put his grandchildren on a pedestal, and always brightened up in their presence. RJ was a man's man, who could fix anything, hit a bullseye, and would head out regularly shooting with the guys.

RJ is survived by his wife Carol; children Jim Guill (Becky), Mary McGonigle (Brian), Jennifer Ruth (Ray), and Peter Place (Dee); grandchildren James, Connor, Cavin, Callie, Josh, Jacob, Ryan, Rachel, and Aaron; siblings Karen Ragland (Duane) and Jeffrey Guill; his K9 companion Pluto; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 to Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. Guests are asked to arrive no later than 10:25am, with services set to begin at 10:30am.
