Ray N. Popowitz

Ray N. Popowitz, 80, of Coopersburg, PA, died on November 6, 2025, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Allentown, PA, Ray was the son of the late Paul Popowitz and the late Lorraine (Weller) Decker.

Ray graduated from Quakertown High School in 1963. In his youth, he was a proud Bucks Mont Wrestling Champion, an accomplishment he carried with him throughout his life.

Ray had many passions, including deer hunting, NASCAR, and working on cars. Whether in the garage or outdoors, he found joy in staying hands-on and connected to the things he loved. He was also a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he found community and comfort.

Ray will be deeply missed by his wife, Janet; his children, Glen and Lisa (David); his grandchildren, Cody, Drew, and Madison; and his great-granddaughter, Kinlee; his brother, Ronald; along with his extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Ray is predeceased by his daughter, Sherry (Randy) and his brother, Roger. 

All are invited to visit with Ray’s family on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, from 10:00 ~ 11:00am, located at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Ltd. 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951. (215-536-3343) A funeral service will begin at 11:00am followed by burial at Quakertown Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown.
