Richard Clark Hoch Jr.

Richard Clark Hoch Jr., 71, of Satellite Beach, FL, died on October 30, 2025, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Born in Allentown, PA, Richard was the son of the late Richard Hoch Sr. and the late Edith (Stowell) Hoch.

Richard attended Quakertown Community High School and graduated in 1972. He continued his education by attending Temple University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. Then he furthered his education at the McCarrie School to become an Optician.

He had a passion for preserving the planet and the seas. In his free time, Richard enjoyed walking, biking, and his close friends. He was an active member of his community association at Montecito. Richard was happiest when he walked the beach and collected sea glass. He loved his family and enjoyed the time spent with them.

Richard will be deeply missed by his sister, Pamela Brown (Ken); his extended family members and friends; his nephews, Shawn (Kelli) and Justin (Lindsey), along with their children: Nathan, Shay, Tyler, Logan, Gavin, and Beau.

Services will be held at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard’s name to Habitat for Humanity.
