Richard Lee Gross Jr.

Richard Lee Gross Jr., 72, of Allentown, passed away on April 17, 2026. He was born in Quakertown on March 7, 1954 to the late Richard Lee Gross Sr. and Dolores (Davis) Gross. Richard was the loving husband of Donna Jean (Weil) Gross for 21 years. He loved to shoot pool and going bowling. Richard thoroughly enjoyed watching NHRA racing, regularly heading to Maple Grove Raceway. He was a very dedicated worker, devoting 40+ years to US Food Services. Richard took great care of the pets he loved, including his dog Lou and cats Honeysuckle and Cleo. He was a doting and active grandfather, regularly helping with anything the kiddos needed.

Richard is survived by his wife Donna; children Gina Bengier and Hector Ross (Donna); 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings Bob Gross (Celly) and Billy Gross; and many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; great grandson Kayson; and brother James Gross.

All are invited on Thursday, April 23, 2026 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a viewing from 10-11am, and a funeral service at 11am. Interment will follow at Richlandtown Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's name can be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society.
