Scott Russel Davis passed away on October 3, 2026, on his 54th birthday.
Scott grew up in Richboro, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Gladys and Richard Davis. He married his wife, Heidi Davis, in September 1999, and together they built a life and family that meant everything to him.
Above all else, Scott was a devoted husband and incredibly proud father. He is survived by his wife, Heidi, and his children, Riley, Avry and Addyson Davis. He is also survived by his brother, Rick Davis; sister-in-law, Elena Davis; his cousin, Suzanne Muller, who was much more like a sister to him; Suzanne's husband, Brian Muller; his two nieces and two nephews; as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Scott worked at Merck for 27 years, where he made many wonderful and lasting friendships. He was loved by his coworkers and was always up for what he affectionately called "shenanigans." The friendships, laughter, and memories he made there remained a special part of his life.
Scott also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Following the attacks of September 11, 2001, he spent a year on active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His military service was something he carried with great pride throughout his life. Scott was also a lifeguard and an EMT, roles that reflected his instinct to help others. Over the years, he saved many lives and was always willing to step in when someone needed him.
Anyone who knew Scott knew the size of his heart. If someone needed help, Scott would drop everything to be there - whether it was for family, a friend, a coworker, or even a complete stranger. Helping people was simply part of who he was.
Scott was also someone who rarely sat still. Unless he was sleeping, there was usually something he was working on, fixing, rebuilding, or figuring out - and, as anyone who knew him could tell you, probably another project waiting to be finished. He loved tinkering with cars, old snowmobiles, jet skis, and his boat. If he could find a YouTube video showing him how to fix something, there was a pretty good chance he was going to give it a try - and more often than not, figure it out.
Scott loved the Eagles, traveling, snowmobiling, jet skiing, and especially spending time at the beach. Wildwood held a special place in his heart, and trips there with his family created many treasured memories. Whether it was Wildwood or another beach, being near the ocean was Scott's happy place.
Scott will be remembered for his generous heart, his willingness to help anyone who needed him, his endless projects, his sense of adventure, the fun and laughter he brought with him, and most of all, the love he had for his family.
His absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved him, but the memories, stories, friendships, laughter, and love he gave so freely will remain with them always. All are invited on Saturday, October 10, 2026 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
