Susan Dianne Lewis, born on June 10, 1956, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, at the age of 70. Her life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and love for her family and passions.
Susan grew up in Quakertown and graduated from Quakertown High School. She pursued her interest in beauty and style by earning a degree in cosmetology from Allentown Cosmetology School. Later, she expanded her horizons by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Business from DeSales University. These achievements supported the foundation for her successful career as the owner of West End Styles, a salon where she combined her creativity with her entrepreneurial spirit.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Susan found joy in traveling to new places, immersing herself in books, and dedicating time to philanthropic endeavors. She was a member of Soroptimist International, serving as President of the Quakertown chapter and chairing the annual silent auction for many years. She also volunteered with Quakertown Community Outreach, founding the QCO Closet, a free thrift store serving those in need in her community.
Her love for Dalmatians was well known to those who knew her; they held a special place in her heart.
Susan is survived by her beloved mother, Joan Lewis; her brother, Thomas Lewis (Marge Lewis); her daughter, Lindsey Place (Thomas Place); and her cherished grandchildren, Piper Marshall and River Marshall. She was predeceased by her father, William Lewis and brother, James Lewis.
Susan’s memory will live on through the lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. May those who knew and loved her find comfort in remembering the vibrant life she led.
