Terry A. Jones

Terry Alan Jones, age 78, of Quakertown, passed away on August 30, 2026 peacefully at his home in Haycock after a brief illness. He was born on November 21, 1947 in Allentown to Webster & Valerie (Wenhold) Jones. He graduated from Quakertown Community High School class of 1965. He attended Bucks County Community College until being drafted into the Army. He served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968, and stayed with the Army till 1970. After returning from Vietnam he completed his time at the induction center in Philadelphia.

He worked as a construction superintendent for various general contractors. He worked on mostly commercial buildings such as hospitals, prisons, hotels, and schools. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and friends. He spent a lot of time earlier on his boat (Frayed Knot) in Capy May. He enjoyed going to auctions and bidding on equipment and anvils. He could be seen at home relaxing with his soduko puzzles.

He loved spending his time with his beloved granddaughter as she was growing up. He took her mander hunting in the woods. He taught her to hunt and was proud when she shot her first deer. He also helped her get her boating license.

Terry is survived by his wife Kathleen (George) Jones who he shared 55 years of marriage; his two sons Tory Webster Jones and Eric William Jones, both of Quakertown; his granddaughter Kayla (Jones) Buck of Quakertown; and his brother Donald Kean; nieces; nephews; and many other loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Webster & Valerie (Wenhold) Jones; his sister Jean Bitner; and his brother Stephen Jones.

All are invited on Saturday, September 12, 2026 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a visitation from 2:00-4:00pm. Terry will be privately laid to rest at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Luke's Hospice, choose hospice as the designation.
