Virginia “Ginny” Louise Godshall, 82, of Richlandtown, PA, died on December 15th, 2025, at St. Luke’s Bethlehem Hospital. Born in McComas, WV, Ginny was the daughter of the late Everitt Kade and the late Mildred Kade (Jones).
Ginny attended school in McComas WV and Quakertown High School. She began working at a shirt factory in Richlandtown as a teenager. She then became a CNA and worked at Zohlman’s and enjoyed it so much she remained there for 30+ years. Her passion for life extended well beyond her professional endeavors, in her free time, Ginny enjoyed crocheting in her younger years, gardening, playing scrabble, and porch sitting with her dog.
Earlier in her life, Ginny enjoyed traveling to Lancaster, Atlantic City, and Ohio - where she would visit with her late son before his passing. She was also a member of the Baptist Church as a young girl. Later in her life, Ginny enjoyed visitors to her home and kitchen table, everyone was always welcome and you would never leave hungry. She was happiest when she was cooking and baking for her loved ones. Especially cheesecake.
She was an active member of the Pennsylvania lottery system and helped feed older Pennsylvanians everyday. She always had a special place in her heart for her beloved pets that she treated like babies. She will be remembered for her love of family and coffee as well as her quick wit and sarcasm. We love you Ginny.
Above all else, Ginny loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.
