Willard Benner

Willard G. Benner, 96, of Quakertown, PA., died Sat., Jan. 9 in Belle Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Anna (Nosal) Benner. Born in Richland Twp., he was the son of the late Webster and Celeste (Greup) Benner. He worked for Ametek Inc., Sellersville for 18 years before retiring in 1978. Previously, he was a knitter for the former Best Made Hoisery Co. and the former Alanna Hoisery Co. both of Quakertown. He was a life member of Quakertown Fire Co. #1 and former member of Trumbauersville Fire Co. where he served as vice-president. Surviving: sons, Willard, wife Gladys of Quakertown and Kenneth, wife Donna of Wyncote; grandchildren, Valann, husband Michael Budischak; Shelley, husband Robert Rawley; Sara Benner; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Megan Budischak; Lena and Benner Rawley. Services will be held 11:00 am Sat, Jan. 16 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St. Quakertown. Call: 10:00-11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Trinity Great Swamp U.C.C.
